Program Overview

Our junior choir program helps young singers develop intermediate vocal skills through:

• Ear training, breathing, intonation, and articulation
• Music reading, rehearsal, and performance techniques
• Challenging repertoire suitable for concerts and competitions
• Opportunities for solo performances

Students will engage with music designed to foster growth and confidence in a supportive environment.

Registration

Enrollment is open for the 2025-2026 academic year. A $25 non-refundable registration fee is due at enrollment to cover materials.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals: Weekly 60-minute in-person group rehearsals on Fridays from 10:00-11:00 AM, plus individual practice at home. All materials are provided.

Performances

Scheduled Performances:

• Winter Concert: Saturday, December 13, 2025, 5:00 PM, Bates Recital Hall
• Spring Concert: Saturday, May 16, 2026, 4:00 PM, Bates Recital Hall

Additional opportunities include community performances, choir tours, and/or competitions.

Tuition & Fees

Registration Fee: $25 non-refundable (due at enrollment)

Tuition – One Semester:

• $200 per singer
• $400 for 2 or more singers

Tuition – Full Year (August to May):

• $350 per singer
• $700 for 2 or more singers

Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable. Tuition refunds:

• Before September 15, 2025: 100% refunded
• September 15 to October 1, 2025: 50% refunded
• After October 1, 2025: No refunds

Academic Schedule

The choir season runs from August 29, 2025, to May 18, 2026.
